Sustainability Overview

Telos strives to operate our business in an environmentally responsible manner and in support of sustainable long-term financial performance. Our single largest source of scope 1 or 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is energy purchased in connection with our headquarters building in Ashburn, Virginia. Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) task force and facilities management team are exploring ways to reduce that energy usage. We do not own or operate data centers. Many of our solutions are cloud-based or are designed to facilitate our customers’ secure cloud usage or cloud migration, thereby fostering sustainable energy use.

We have developed a climate transition plan that we believe aligns with an aspirational global 1.5° goal. We have set a goal of reducing our scope 2 emissions from our U.S.-based facilities by 50% by 2030 against a 2013 baseline. Our estimated progress to date is reflected in the chart below:

We annually respond to the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire, and our latest response can be found at www.cdp.net/en.

Furthermore, we provide sustainability disclosures using the SASB Software & IT Services Standard. A copy of our most recent SASB disclosure can be found here.
